Olga (Teixeira) Luiz, 94, of Everett Avenue passed away on Jan. 20, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Manor. She was the wife of the late Manuel Luiz.
Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Evarista (Reis-Cabral) Teixeira. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Luiz and his wife Melonie of Bristol, Joyce Lincoln (the late Gary) of Naples, Fla., and Janet Emond and her husband Richard of Bristol. She was the grandmother of Heather Luiz, Pierce Lincoln, Whitney Lincoln, Molly Emond and Paige Emond, and great-grandmother of Skylah Lincoln.
Mrs. Luiz was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School and the owner of M. Luiz Homestyle Chourico for 25 years before retiring.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
