Noella M. Hayward, 58, of Warren, died Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital.

She was born in Fall River, a daughter of Natalie (Bento) Roia and the late Manuel Moitoso.

Noella was a Billing Manager for over 30 years at the Grace Barker Nursing Center.

She had lived most of her life in Warren, coming from Bristol.

She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Bay Church.

Noella loved dogs, and was an avid New England Patriots fan. She also enjoyed working with the elderly.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her sisters, Natalie Hayward and her wife Ellen Rawding of Riverside, RI, and Debbie Toste and her husband Charlie of Bristol.

She was the aunt of Samantha and Scott Beaulieu, Kelly Wingate and Jason Moniz.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, June 15, 2019 in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main St., Warren. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
