Nature Photography Tips & Photo Walk

Posted

Multiply the benefits of getting outdoors this season by capturing moments in photographs as you walk! And you can learn how to make the most of your outdoor shots with the Nature Photography Tips and Photo Walk program at Seekonk Public Library on Saturday, July 13 from 10 AM to 12 noon. Local artist and photographer Jos‏‏‏è Lacerda will review photos to provide tips for getting your best nature shots with a manual, digital or phone camera. Weather permitting you will then put your new knowledge to work taking photos with like-minded photographers in Seekonk Meadows and Gammino Pond Trail. This is a great time to prepare your entries for the Seekonk Nature Photography contest returning this fall! Pre-registration is required.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
