Symphony performs Sunday in East Providence

The Narragansett Bay Symphony Community Orchestra will presents its winter concert, “Courage & Triumph.” They will play works by Scott Joplin and Johannes Brahms. Guest violinist Sophia Szokolay (pictured) will perform Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64.

WHAT: Community orchestra concert

WHEN: Sunday, March 3, at 3 p.m.

WHERE: East Providence High School auditorium, 2000 Pawtucket Ave.

COST: Admission is “Pay what you think is fair” and bring an item for the R.I. Community Food Bank.
