Myrtle I. (Dyer) Federico, 99, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2020.
Born in the Artic section of West Warwick, she was the wife of the late Francis D. Federico. She was also the daughter of the late Albert and Abbie Jessie (Elmer) Dyer.
Myrtle was the supervisor of sales at Cherry & Webb for many years until her retirement in 1983. She was also a member of the Barrington and Portsmouth Senior Centers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Myrtle enjoyed dancing, doing so three times a week until the age of 93.
Myrtle is survived by her four children, Marion A. Wojcik (Theodore) of Bristol, Francine C. Treglia (Albert) of Warren, Charles A. Federico (Pamela DeBlois) of Pawtucket, and Mitchell A. Federico (Susan) of Warren. In addition to her children, she is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild and many friends and acquaintances.
In death she is reunited with her siblings, Chet Dyer, Everett Dyer, George Dyer, Howard Dyer, Arthur Dyer, Merle Dyer, Marion DeBlois, Viola Cook, and Doris Dyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Myrtle’s name can be made to The East Bay Food Pantry, 532 Wood St., Bristol, RI 02809.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Myrtle’s life.
