Manuel Amaral Correia, 60, of Bristol

Manuel Amaral Correia, 60, of Lincoln Avenue, passed away on Nov. 27, 2019, at Newport Hospital. He was the husband of Eleanor (Warburton) Correia.   

Born in Lajes Praia da Vitoria, Terceira, Azores, Portugal, he was the son of Teresa (Amaral) Correia and the late Miguel Correia.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Eliza M. Correia of Bristol and Evan M. Correia of Somerset, Mass. He was the brother of Deodata Narcissio, Fatima Amaral, Joseph Correia, Duval Correia, Doris Damasio and the late Miguel Correia and Helia Correia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Correia was educated in Portugal and employed as a landscaper for DaPonte’s Landscaping Services.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St.
