Local kid is a Super Kid

Bristol’s own Dylan Lombardi is competing for the chance to become a real-life comic book superhero! He’s made it to the quarterfinals of Stan Lee's Super Kid competition, an international contest that started with hundreds of children vying for the chance to become a superhero in a Stan Lee Universe comic book and win $25,000. He's now competing to advance to the semifinals, with voting closing Thursday, November 5, at 10 p.m. Eastern.

According to his proud uncle Drew Lombardi, “Dylan is quirky, funny, fearless, full of boundless energy, and a lifelong Spider-Man fanatic. An avid reader of Stan Lee's comic books, he loves to hang and glide around the playground like Peter Parker. Dylan is also a devoted Scout, a competitive Pinewood Derby racer, and an enthusiastic gardener alongside his grandfather Steve Lombardi.”

Dylan lost his father, Drew’s brother, when he was just seven years old, but continues to approach life with infectious positivity, resilience, and a genuine desire to help others.

Currently Dylan is in first place in the quarter-final round. You can boost his changes between now and Thursday at 10 p.m. by voting here.
