My son started this Star in the East in the late seventies/early eighties when all was peaceful and bright!

To the editor:

My son started this Star in the East in the late seventies/early eighties when all was peaceful and bright!

I do not believe a Star in the East at Christmastime should be considered as light pollution.

Thank you Bruce for standing up for the "reason for the season" at a recent hearing on this subject. 

I look forward to your star each year and thank you for it.  I hope our town council will agree.
