Little Compton Police: West Main crash injures one

Police were called to Warren's Point Beach Club, Atlantic Drive, at 6:23 pm, for a complaint of ongoing harassment to the whole family by a woman at the beach.

Tuesday, June 23

A Long Highway man reported being bitten by a stray cat at 12:42 pm at a Long Highway address.

Wednesday, June 24

A black lab, border collie mix was found on East Main Road at 7:33 pm. Attempts were being made to contact the owner.

Thursday, June 25

A Google phone was found on Rhode Island Avenue and dropped off at the station. The owner later retrieved the phone.

Police were called to the area of the Stone House Inn on Sakonnet Point Road for a car that had struck a stone wall at 10:16 p.m. The two occupants declined medical treatment but the car had to be towed.

Saturday, June 27

A South Shore Road resident called police at 11:56 am about a vehicle that speeds up and down that road.

At 1:48 pm. Police and rescue went to West Main Road for a motor vehicle accident with injury. One person was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital and the vehicle was towed.

Sunday, June 28

An unspecified injured animal on Meeting House Lane had to be destroyed at 12:29 am.

Police were called to Lloyd's Beach at 9:55 am for a “non-compliant male.”

Police were called to South Shore Beach at 10:24 am for a dog locked in a car.
