Little Clay Studio celebrating 6 years with exhibition

Posted

The Little Clay Studio, a ceramics cooperative for adults with developmental and physical disabilities, provides an inspirational classroom structure where artists can use their creativity to explore the potentials of clay while developing self-confidence. Under the tutelage of artist and educator Jessica Schlacter, TLC Studio artists produce a line of tableware that is sold at art shows, and to restaurants and private residences, throughout the country.

In recognition of their 6th year, TLC Studio is presenting an exhibition at Sprout CoWorking, on the corner of Main and State Streets in Warren. Through images and language, this exhibition will showcase the individuals that have made TLC Studio a success. This show will feature a historical tour of their Potters/Artists over the last 6 years and provide you direct insight into what TLC Studio means to them.

Potters/Artists in this show include Georgia McFadden, Piotr Suszylo, Missy Cullen, Jackie Silva, Santos Ruiz, Gloria Smith, Jillian Walsh, Jean Murphy, Paul Miller, Andrew Palumbo, Jason DaCosta, Ronald Miranda, Carmen Rios, David Dansicker, Mary Alice Shepard, and Eileen Carnevale.
The Retrospective show is available for viewing through Nov. 16 during Sprout's business hours, which are Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon.
