Little City Thrifty Vintage Market brings together over 80 vintage sellers for a curated indoor shopping experience featuring vintage and pre-loved clothing, books, records, art, furniture, home decor, and more! This ridiculous rally of rummaged regalia will be held over two days at Providence, Rhode Island’s most revered venue, The WaterFire Arts Center. With entry, attendees will receive a complimentary drink ticket that can be redeemed for a small beer from Proclamation Ale or Trinity Brewhouse, a small cocktail, a small coffee from New Harvest Coffee Roasters, or Coca-Cola. Come spend a few hours with us, have a drink, pick through over 15,000 square feet of buried treasure, buy a lamp or four, buy another chair, try on some new-old shoes, and go home thrifty!

Want the first crack at picking on Saturday or Sunday with a little extra elbow room? Limited Early Buying Hour tickets are available that allow for entry one full hour before doors open. Visit littlecitythrifty.com for tickets and more information.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
