The Lions won 3-2; the game scores were 25-22, 23-25, 20-25, 25-16, 17-15.
“The Lions came to Barrington on a mission,” said Barrington Coach Christian Lambert.
“We showed we were the better team in sets two and three. We came in cocky in set four and made crucial mistakes and then had to battle ourselves the rest of the way.
“We were our worst opponent.”
Maddox Godwin led Barrington with 17 kills, two blocks and eight digs, while Luke Andsager was strong from the service line with three aces and contributed offensively with six kills.
Middle hitters James Ciummo and Max Oberacker defended the net for Barrington with eight blocks and combined for 11 kills.
Fourth-seeded Lincoln later defeated Cranston West in four sets to win the Division II championship.
