Letter: Weinberg offers expertise, objectivity to BOH

Posted

To the editor,

This letter is written in support of Phil Weinberg’s candidacy for the Board of Health. Phil brings expertise and a practical objective style to this position. He is retired as the southeast regional administrator from the Mass. Department of Environmental Protection.  During his 30-year career there he developed expertise in a number of areas relevant to the Board of Health, namely, solid waste management and water quality.

Time and time again, Phil brought his objectivity and problem solving skills to his job, attributes that he will bring to the Board of Health. Our Board of Health is a small department with a small "hands on" board. Phil’s background and skills will be a tremendous asset to that department which is why I am enthusiastically endorsing him.
