Letter: We support Donna Amaral for Westport Board of Health

We would like to express our support for Donna Amaral, RN, for the Westport Board of Health.  Ms. Amaral moved to Westport when she was 9 years old.  She went on to become a well-trained nurse obtaining experience in a whole variety of work which is needed by Westport’s Board of Health.

She is a newcomer to politics and is not part of anyone else’s agenda. She has the unique ability, partly from her training but also partly from her own wisdom, to understand all sides and to bring people together.

A new independent voice on the Board of Health would be very welcome.  We strongly recommend that Westport vote for Donna Amaral for the Board of Health.
