Letter: We need to cut back on school expenditures in Barrington
To the editor:
We are building a new middle school for what I can remember the last time I checked was 58 MILLION DOLLARS more or less, but probably more.
It seems to me that for the greater good, if the town is agreeing to spend that much money on one and only one portion of all its whole expenditures we might have to cut back on another portion of that one expenditure. This is what we normally are prompted to do in most of these kinds of family matters. In this case that would mean cutting back on school year budget expenditures i.e. cutting back on the 1.2 million dollars for the general school year budget.
Compromise, compromise, COMPROMISE.
Those of you who agree should let your voices ring out.
