To the editor:
Next Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Portsmouth High School, there will be a special Town Council meeting to vote on a proposed agreement with SouthCoast Wind to run an electric line along Boyd’s Lane. The town would receive $23 million over 33 years and commitments to minimize construction impacts on Island Park.
I think it’s a good deal, and I plan to go to the meeting to say so. If you also think supporting renewable energy and green economy jobs is a good thing, please take the time to attend — or at least send an email to the council — so that your point of view is represented.
