We support Dr. Peter Sanchioni, Tiverton school system superintendent.

Before we moved to Tiverton, we lived in Westwood, Mass., where our daughter went to the Thurston Middle School. At the time, Dr. Sanchioni was the school’s principal He was an extraordinary educator and administrator.

He assembled an effective team of teachers that addressed academic standards, educational and social issues, including bullying. Under his guidance, the students in the Middle School thrived. When he left the Middle School, Dr. Sanchioni continued on to have an extremely successful career in school administration.

The Tiverton school system is most fortunate to have such a talented and experienced superintendent.
