To the editor:
Citizens of Tiverton, I share your pain having your town manager trying to manage what he is incapable of doing. As a citizen of Warren, we had his position of town manager which failed to manage for the citizens of Warren.
My interest surrounded his lack of ability to manage correcting the deteriorated sidewalks in town that fell into violation of ADA regulations. As a handicapped citizen I banged heads with him for two years where he did nothing to manage the repairs of these sidewalks, This prompted me to take legal action against him and the town because of his failure to manage correctly. In November of 2017, the Town Council fired him, for reasons that reflected to his poor ability to manage. His remarks in June 2017 email, slandered my name claiming I was bringing a lawsuit against the town, and put a gag order to all town employees not to speak to me.
After addressing this issue at the council meeting I was accosted by the council trying to avoid answering my questions and was escorted from the meeting. That prompted me to file a civil action against the town with the RI Commission of Human Rights office in which I am waiting for a decision that I hope will find Mr. Manager liable. My advise to you citizens, show your manager the door and replace him with someone who is competent to manage your town.
