It's come to my attention that there are groups trying to undermine/reverse the recent decision to change school start times in Barrington.

Given the significant and amassed body of evidence and research on this topic and the fact that this has been discussed, debated and thoroughly evaluated by the Barrington School Committee over a 5-plus year period (with an entirely public process that invited everyone to participate throughout), this is extremely disappointing to me.

I fully and enthusiastically support the implementation of school start time change in the 2016-2017 school year. The time for debate is over — there have been 5 years of debate on this topic. Now is the time for  implementing the decision and making it the most successful it can be for our children.

Thanks,

Jennifer Ingram
