Letter: Thanks for bringing awareness to increasing food needs

To the editor:

I read your article, “Food prices are rising, and so are trips to local food banks” this morning, and wanted to write to say thank you for raising awareness about this increasing issue.

I also wanted to let you know that two local Bristol breweries, Six Pack Brewing and Pivotal Brewing, have teamed up and are currently hosting a Food Drive to help with this ever increasing need. All donations are being given to the East Bay Food Pantry and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. I thought by sharing this information, maybe you could help us to spread the word and increase donations for our hungry neighbors.
