We recently concluded the fifth annual British Motorcar Festival. The festival, including the Friday Night Street Party and vintage motorcar procession through downtown Bristol on Friday, June 7, and the main show on Saturday June 8, were a smashing success. With almost 200 cars on the field, a very busy spectator flow and absolutely great weather, it was as good as it gets.
None of this would have been possible without the enthusiastic support of the Town of Bristol. Our appreciation goes out to our town administrator, Steven Contente, Economic Development Coordinator Chris Vitale, to the professional support of Bristol’s finest (BPD), to the hard working men and women of the Department of Public Works, and last but not least to the ever helpful team at Parks and Recreation.
Without that support, this event would not have been such a success and in turn such a benefit to our community.
Finally more than 60 Bristolians volunteered their time and energy to make this event happen. Thank you to all.
