To the editor:

So, according to Donna Cook, a known Tiverton Taxpayers Association (TTA) acolyte and Katz disciple, mob rule is taking over in Tiverton. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, she and the rest of the TTA is upset with the "unfairness" of it all.

She seems to have forgotten, and wants us to ignore, the fact that for years the TTA has mounted a ferocious campaign against anything, or anyone, that goes against their principles and beliefs. Their members have filed numerous lawsuits against the town and individuals. It is true that they won the elections for Town Council and the Budget Committee and have acquired a majority in those bodies. However, it did not take long for their arrogance to shine through and now that it is recognized for what it is they don't like the response.

The "mob", the enemy, is at the gates. It is actively standing against how the TTA believes Tiverton should be ruled. As of this writing the TTA has lost its majority on the Budget Committee and will soon, hopefully, lose its majority on the Town Council as well.

If that happens I'm sure they will quickly revert to their previous disruptive tactics which, of course, will  be perfectly acceptable to them.
