Letter: POW/MIA flag law shows respect for veterans
A previous letter to the editor addressed the flying of the POW/MIA flag,
which questioned the flying of it on only six days per year. I was notified via Congressman David Cicilline's office that a bill (S-693) was passed by the House, with a bi-partisan vote, to amend the law and allow the POW/MIA flag to be flown daily, along with the American flag.
I fought to have this done to show more respect for out veterans who are
still missing, or died defending our country in the name of freedom.
