To the editor:
It’s difficult to observe the reaction to our government attempts to provide support for basic requirements, such as dealing with trash and roads.
First, the ideas that our elected Town Council‘s function is to force designs upon us and that the state road authority just doesn’t know what it’s doing and its attempt to upgrade an intersection.
The common thread seems to be that no changes can be made if it is perceived as having a negative impact on anyone.
It’s strange that with so many zealous citizens brimming with the know how of what should be done that the ballot for Town Council elections isn’t at least two pages long.
Godspeed, our elected officials; you have a difficult and trying position.
God prosper, you for yours is a most difficult job.
