So all this hype about free electricity for the town and sales of excess electricity for the town is just sales spin? It appears we are just switching from one electrical provider (national grid) to another (Solect Energy). As I assume Solect Energy keeps the monies for sale of electricity to the grid and the town pays Solect for what it uses.

Electric rates are at historic highs. Should we be signing a 25-year fixed rate contract at these peak rates?

As far as the projected savings go...are these part of the sales spin provided by Solect Energy or have they been confirmed by an independent party?

Also has the town reached out to any of the 50 organizations who Solect Energy has claimed to have benefited from similar arrangements or is this also sales spin?
