Letter: End of the BP station will hurt Barrington's elderly population
To the editor:
I went by the BP garage here in Barrington to see Armando and express my sorrow about what the town has done to the Wajdas.
The place was all closed up, cold and dark. No cars to service anymore.
But then, it is just another blow by our "friendly town leaders" to drive the elderly out of town.
What else? Oh, yeah, to replace a needed business with a "much un-needed Starbucks" and lots of traffic jams.
What else can they do to us?
