This budget season Tiverton residents have an incredible opportunity to support our community and reduce our taxes by voting for budget 2.

While other communities are raising taxes or cutting services, we can improve our schools, bring our library hours back to normal, fund infrastructure improvements, and so much more. All of these things make Tiverton a better and stronger community and can all be done while reducing taxes for residents (approximately a $180 reduction in property taxes based on a home assessed at $306,000).

In the eight years I have been a resident of Tiverton there has never been an opportunity like this — this year budget 2 is a win-win for everyone. Let’s take advantage of this great opportunity on Saturday, May 18 — vote for budget 2. It’s time to Turn the Tide!
