To the editor,
Vandalism in Bristol has reached a new low. Thieves stealing both the Bristol Sails signs on Thames Street and the Bristol Blooms baskets on Hope Street is an affront to all of us!
Volunteers have raised thousands of hard-earned dollars from our generous locals in an attempt to beautify our town.
Endless hours of time and dedication have been devoted to this effort, along with the help of local businesses who were involved with the implementation. The Bristol DPW also assisted in this effort.
This is a shameful assault on all civic minded Bristolians who care about our town's image. On behalf of my co-chairs Audrey Brito Field and Susan O'Donnell, we ask that you report any act of vandalism you witness to the Bristol Police.
