Kudos and many thanks to everyone who pitched in to make the Little Compton Community Center Fall Fest dinners such a humongous success this past Saturday night.
First of all Diane MacGregor, our unofficial “Be Kind” ambassador and her committee did such a wonderful job recruiting hosts and coordinating attendances. And then there are the deeply appreciated hosts and hostesses, who opened their homes, their kitchens, and their pocketbooks to welcome their neighbors to great dining experiences! They put the word “community” at the heart of our Center.
The Sakonnet Point Club was packed. The participants enthusiastically bid against one another in competition for wonderful offerings and enjoyed delicious donated desserts. Again, wallets were opened in support for the Center.
I could go on, but suffice it to say, if you missed this year's event, there is always next year to look forward to. Host, or attend, or donate — there are many ways to participate.
The Community Center is a Little Compton gem. Let's all do our part to support it!
