Letter: Beautify Barrington, sponsor a snowflake

Posted

To the editor: The holidays are almost upon us, and what better way to get in the spirit than to decorate downtown Barrington! Last year, the Barrington Business Association raised funds to pay for 14 LED snowflakes that were hung by the DPW in front of the town hall and along Maple Avenue. We would love to be able to add more this year!

We received numerous positive comments about them, especially from passing shoppers and motorists. This year, we are thankful that the town has agreed to buy 10 additional snowflakes, for a total of 24. But there’s room for more! If you (resident or business owner), would like to help the BBA put up more of these festive snowflakes, please consider sponsoring one.

For more information, or to make a donation, call Lois or Chrissy on the BBA Banner Committee at 245-0580.
