Letter: Administrator takes no stance on Dunkin' issue

Posted

I wish to set the record straight about a statement made by Mr. Zlartarski in last week’s Letter to the Editor relative to the proposed Dunkin’ Donuts.

The peer review of the applicant’s traffic study was commissioned by the Planning Board in accordance with the Subdivision and Development Plan Review Regulations. The findings of the review are presented to the Planning Board and Zoning Board as part of the Development Review Process.

I have not taken a position on either the findings of the traffic study or the peer review because the review and acceptance or rejection of these documents rests with the Planning Board and Zoning Board. Neither of these boards fall under my jurisdiction as the town administrator.
