Well, we didn’t finally lift the FTM from the past to the present. But, we should feel relief and pride knowing that more voices were heard and listened to, representing more people and taxpayers then in the past. We showed up, voiced our concerns, recommended changes, and were not overpowered by special interests. Perhaps more people are feeling the crush financially and also to their powers of individual choice.
Hopefully there is a flicker of light that will grow to let the town see that all of our voices need to be counted by coming to hear the yearly issues at the financial town meeting and then placing all our individual votes on a ballot at their assigned polling places.
