Legislators from Newport County met in virtual forums to discuss General Assembly rules, greenhouse gases, voting laws, CRMC and rising seas, abortion rights and the specific needs of Newport County towns during two events organized by the Newport County chapter of the League of Women Voters.

John “Jay” Edwards, Dist. 70; and Rep. Deb Ruggiero, Dist. 74. The second was held Jan. 31 and featured Sen. Walter Felag, Dist. 10; Sen. Jim Seveney, Dist. 11; Rep. Terri Cortvriend, Dist. 72; Rep. Susan Donovan, Dist. 69; and Rep. Michelle McGaw, Dist. 71.
