Kathleen Sousa, 52, of Bristol

Kathleen (Dennis) Sousa, 52, passed away after a lifelong battle with Crohn’s Disease on Nov. 4, 2019, at Charlton Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary (Menezes) Dennis. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Kerry Sousa and Kate Sousa, both of Fall River, and granddaughter, Keira Sousa. She was the sister of Debra (Jaime) Diniz of Warren and Robert Dennis Jr. of Fall River.

Kathy was a graduate of Bristol High School and employed as a CNA before retiring.

Her funeral services were held Nov. 7 from the George Lima Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Doug Grant at St. Mary of The Bay Church. Liturgical readings were by Jessica Farnsworth and Ashley Garcia. The Prayer of the Faithful was read by Sarah Diniz, and the offertory gifts were presented by Kate Sousa, Kerry Sousa and Britney Dennis.

Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Nathan Diniz, John Silva, Tony Silva, Joseph Pereira, Louis Garcia and Manny Menezes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Outpatient Infusion Center, 363 Highland Ave., Fall River MA 02720.
