Karen Ann Almeida, 66, passed away peacefully at Rhode Island Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019.

Born in Fall River, Mass., she was the daughter of George V. Almeida and the late Isabel (Bernardo) Almeida.

In addition to her father, Karen is also survived by a brother, George S. Almeida, and a nephew, George S. Almeida, Jr.  and his wife Sheri Almeida, and a niece, Cheri Ann Almeida and her wife, Laura Almeida, and their son, great-nephew, Rowan Carlton Almeida.

Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, are Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, at 10 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visitation will be Friday morning only from 9 to 10 a.m.
