Julia A. Reilly, age 78, of Summit Drive, Touisset, Warren, died September 25, 2019 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was born on April 5, 1941, in Providence, a daughter of the late Richard A. and Julia M. (Lynch) Reilly.

Julia worked as a buyer for the Outlet Department Stores and worked as a manager for Creative Imports.

She is survived by her Touisett neighbors and friends.

Julia was an avid gardener, enjoyed traveling, loved the water and growing up in Touisset where she lived most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 10am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave., Warren. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Wampanoag Trail, East Providence. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
