Joan B. (McSheehy) Cain, 79, of Cove Street, Riverside, died peacefully at home on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John E. Cain. They had been married for 48 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Butler) McSheehy, she lived in Riverside for the past 2 years previously residing in Barrington and Spring Hill, Fla.
Mrs. Cain was an accountant for Cast Products for 20 years before retiring in 1995.
Joan was a volunteer for the Barrington Little League. She was an associate member of the Spring Hill V.F.W. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her loving grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Jack Cain of Riverside, Joe Cain of Riverside and Jeff Cain and his wife Robyn of Portsmouth, and four grandchildren, Chelsea, Ross, Neil and Madison Cain. She was the sister of the late Tina Banach, Joseph McSheehy, Norma Waldron and Margaret McHale.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 1 to 4 p.m. wrwatsonfuneralhome.com
