James J O’Donnell, 74, of Bristol
James J O’Donnell, 74, of Bristol passed away peacefully, Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.
He was the husband of the late Lynne (Gardner) O’Donnell. He was the son of the late Harvey and Beatrice (Kozcka) O’Donnell.
Jim is survived by his two daughters, Wendy Allen-O’Donnell and wife Jennifer of Riverside, and Gail Thibaudeau and her husband Michael of Lincoln.
He was the grandfather of Olivia, Michael Jr., Matthew and Molly.
Jim worked at Franklin Court Assisted Living prior to retiring. He was a member of VFW Anthony Almeida Post 237 and Warren German Club.
Jim loved to be on his boat year round and was an avid fisherman who enjoyed crabbing and clamming. He loved to share his knowledge of the water but would never tell his secret spots.
He is survived by two siblings, Gerald O’Donnell and Patricia Pattie. He was the brother of the late Harvey, Donald, Richard, Thomas, Armand, David and Robert O’Donnell and Jeannette Rodrigues.
Jim served in the Army during the Vietnam War and will be laid to rest with military honors.
