People turned in two wallets and a money clip to Barrington police last week.

On Thursday, Aug. 6, a Waseca Avenue business owner called police after she found a wallet outside her store. Police were able to track down the wallet's rightful owner, who later stopped by the station to pick up the wallet.

A little later that day, around 7:30 p.m., a person  stopped into the station to turn over a money clip and some fishing gear that he had found in the Barrington Beach parking lot. The man also told a lifeguard at the beach that he was turning the items into police, just in case anyone came looking for them.

On Monday, Aug. 3, a Central Avenue resident stopped into the police station to turn over a found wallet. The man said he had located the wallet about two and a half weeks earlier and posted it to the Alfred Drown Neighborhood web page, but no one had claimed.

The rightful owners of the items can call police at 437-3930 to claim them.
