Heroin bust in Bristol grocery store parking lot

Bristol Police arrested Ross Deltoro, 34, of 42 Wapping Drive, Bristol, on four charges related to the sale and distribution of heroin on Dec. 17. The arrest came after weeks of investigation that led police to secure an arrest warrant for Mr. Deltoro for Delivery of Heroin and a court authorized searched warrant for his apartment. On Dec. 17, 2015, while Mr. Deltoro was under surveillance Bristol Police reportedly observed him selling drugs in the Seabra Supermarket parking lot. Bristol Police said Mr. Deltoro resisted officers attempts to arrest him. Police eventually gained control of Mr. Deltoro and took him into custody.

Police said they seized approximately 33 grams of suspected heroin, 100 pills of Oxycodone, five plastic containers containing suspected steroids, a white plastic bottle containing a suspected cutting agent for heroin, packaging materials, a scale, ledger and more than $5,000 cash when they searched his apartment. A K-9 from the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the search.

Mr. Deltoro appeared in 6th District Court on Dec. 18 on the charges of:     Delivery of Heroin (two counts), Possession with Intent To Deliver Heroin, Possession with Intent to Deliver Oxycodone, Possession of Schedule I-V (steroids), and Resisting Arrest. He was remanded to the A.C.I. as a Bail Violator from two pending Felony narcotics offenses.
