Helen P. (Ducharme) "Pudge” Anger, age 79, of Barrington, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018. She was the wife of the late Bert W. Anger (step-mother to Edith Canzonetti and Monika Wilson).
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Mullaney) Ducharme. She spent her youth in Somerset, Mass. She graduated from Boston University, worked in New York City as a physical therapist before moving to Barrington in 1968. From 1974 to 1984 she lived in St. Gallen, Switzerland. After leaving Switzerland she moved back to Barrington.
Helen was a tennis player, downhill skier and golfer. She loved gardening and was a member of the Garden Club of Barrington. She was creative in many aspects of her life and never without a book. Helen’s life and travels took her to every continent.
Helen is survived by one son, Bradford K. Anger, her two grandchildren Dillon T. Anger, Charlotte A. Anger and their mother, Angie, and also several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at St. John’s Church Episcopal Church, 191 County Road, Barrington RI 02806, on Friday, Dec. 28, followed by a burial at Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington, RI. Arrangments made by Smith-Mason Funeral Home.
