Gyrokinesis Method Movement Classes

Four Corners Arts Center is pleased to be hosting in October, a five session movement series. “ The Gyrokinesis Method® Movement Classes with Katie Moorhead” will be held on Wednesdays, October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th at 4:30 PM at the Meeting House, 3850 Main Rd. Tiverton RI. (Located in Sculpture Park behind Arts Center).

Join us at Tiverton Four Corners for the Gyrokinesis Method® Movement Classes with Island Moving Company Dancer & Certified Gyrokinesis Method® trainer Katie Moorhead.
Gyrokinesis is a movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences. It is an original and unique method which coordinates movement, breath and mental focus.

Adapted to fit each student’s needs and abilities from those recovering from injury or living with a disability to elite athletes. Please dress comfortably and bring yoga mat & water.

Session Registration Required/ No Drop Ins
Cost: $100.00 (Up to 2 classes can be made up at Newport Studio)
Classes held at the Meeting House, 3850 Main Rd. Tiverton RI. (Located in Sculpture Park behind Arts Center)

Meet our staff
Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
