Grace Davis, 94, Warren

Ms. Grace “Sugar” Davis, 94, of Warren, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully March 23, 2020 at Grace Barker Nursing Home. She was born in Fall River, Massachusetts and lived most her life in Warren, R.I.

Known for her grit, determination and kindness, Ms. Davis spent a life in service to her country, family and friends. Ms. Davis is preceded in death by her parents, Maude and William Harticon, her brother William Harticon Jr., her son Bruce Edward Davis, and her grandson Nicholas Davis.

Surviving family members include her daughter, Janet Medeiros Perdue; her, son James Davis (Denise); three granddaughters, Jessica Medeiros Garrison, Michele Medeiros Gravois (Shannon) and Tanya Manchester; and four great-grandchildren, Zachary Sizemore, Michael Garrison, Sophia Gravois and Beaux Gravois; and niece Suzette Freeman and nephew William Harticon. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, BooBoo.

In keeping with her final wishes, there will be no funeral. Those who knew and loved her are encouraged to perform an act of kindness for someone else in her honor.
