The Gaspee Days Parade continues a tradition begun in 1965. Each year, friends and neighbors crowd along a two-mile stretch of Narragansett Parkway in Pawtuxet Village in Warwick to cheer for a procession of colonial groups, drums corps, fire trucks, the Shriners in their miniature cars and a lot more.
The tradition continues this Saturday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The actual "Burning of the Gaspee" is at 4 p.m. on Sunday at Pawtuxet Park.
