Frank E. Raposa

On May 9, 2020, Frank E. Raposa suddenly left this Earth, on to his next great adventure.

Born Jan. 31, 1958, Frank developed into a man of strength, resolve and resilience. He spent his life in service to others, working as an officer for the ACI and then as an officer for the Bristol Police Department. Between, and sometimes during, those times, he also enjoyed life on the Bay quahogging.

Frank spent the last 20 years navigating life with his wife, Donna (Medeiros) and children Felicia (Teater) and Tyler (Guerriero). He also shared a special relationship with his sister, Terry (and nephew Joey). He was always a solid, steady presence at the wheel of his family vessel.

Frank was easygoing and loyal to his close friends and always eager for new adventures. Some things he enjoyed through his life included mountain biking with Steve and Link, kayaking, hiking, and walks on the beach. He lived a full life, unafraid, undeterred, determined.

In 2008, Frank and his family moved to Florida to enjoy life in the sunshine. Frank and Tyler shared a special relationship; it was a joy to him to explore the culinary world with his chef son.

Because of this, Frank became a proficient BBQ master, with his smoker being one of his prized possessions. He loved nothing more than to ‘Throw some butts on that bad boy!’

It was with profound joy that he walked Felicia down the aisle in October 2019.

Frank will be reunited in his next adventure with his father, Edward (Raposa), mother Margaret (Shea), brother David and nephew Ricky. Nixie, Freya, Amber and Cheyenne will undoubtedly be thrilled to run alongside.

Forever missed by those he leaves behind, for now, who love him dearly, Frank’s life will be honored and celebrated until we meet again.
