Frances Ann Sousa, 91, of Bristol
Frances Ann (Goulart) Sousa, 91, of Bristol passed away on Jan. 25, 2021, at Grace Barker Health. She was the wife of Anthony John Sousa Jr.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Garcia) Goulart. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Laurie F. D’Arcangelo of Bristol; and grandchildren, Lisa Maria Silvia and her husband Richard of Rehoboth, Mass., Michelle Lee D’Arcangelo of Bristol and Adam D’Arcangelo pf Bristol. She was the sister of Josephine Costa of Bristol.
Mrs. Sousa was a 1947 graduate of Colt Memorial High School and a hairdresser at the Laurie Ellen Beauty Salon for 30 years before retiring.
Her funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 3, with a Private Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St. Burial followed in North Burial Ground.
