Sarah Middleton averaging eight points per game
Former Barrington High School standout Sarah Middleton has started all eight games for the Franklin Pierce women's basketball team this season, and is averaging more than eight points per game.
Middleton, a sophomore, is logging plenty of court time for the 2-6 Ravens. In fact, she's leading her team, averaging 35.9 minutes per game.
The guard is shooting 65.4 percent from the free throw line and averaging 8.4 points per game.
One of her best games came in the Ravens' 61-58 win over Holy Family. Middleton went 5-for-9 from the field and 4-for-5 from the free throw line, finishing with 14 points. She also had four assists, five rebounds and a steal.
In the Ravens' most recent game, a tough 69-61 loss to Assumption, Middleton scored eight points, notched six assists and tallied four assists.
