Florence D. (Miranda) Lambert, 94, of Swansea, MA and also of Warren, RI, died Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at home. She was the wife of the late Norman A. Lambert for over 72 years.

Florence was born in Warren, the daughter of the late Helen (Oliveira) Miranda. She worked for 30 years at Berkshire Hathaway, then the Well-Made Dress Shop until her retirement at age 52.

Florence was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. During her lifetime she was a member of a number of civic and social organizations including the Warren Women’s Democratic Club, the East Warren Women’s Auxiliary and the Coffee Hour Club.

She volunteered for many organizations that supported her children during their younger years.

She and her husband Norman traveled extensively throughout the US and abroad. They also had a home in Port Charlotte, Fl. for over 25 years, where they enjoyed the winter months. More recently Florence enjoyed vacationing with her daughter and son-in-law, at their vacation home in Bridgton, ME.

Florence was the mother of two children, her son, the late Robert E. Lambert and her daughter, Roberta A. Duquette of Somerset, MA. She also leaves behind her son-in-law Henry C. Duquette, and her grandchildren Jennie Gagliardi and Ryan Duquette.

She was the great-grandmother of Brad, Kyle, Alex, Lexi, Ben and Grace, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Emily Barboza.

Services were held in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, and burial was in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
