Fire chief identifies victim of Bristol blaze

Bristol Fire Chief Michael DeMello released the identity of the victim in a deadly fire Tuesday evening. The deceased is 34-year-old Corey Rogers, a resident of the 16 Prospect St. multi-family house that caught fire shortly before 6 p.m.

The chief also confirmed that someone who was taken from the scene to Rhode Island Hospital was released a short time later.

Investigators  from the state Fire Marshal's Office worked to identify the cause of the fire but have not released any findings yet.
