Farmers market is also a Wellness Market this Sunday

The Tiverton Farmers Market is holding its Mini-Firefly Wellness Market once again on Sunday. Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Along with sponsors Nanaquaket Yoga Studio and Rising Tides Apothecary, the market will be offering an event focused on mind and body wellness.

Nanaquaket Yoga Studio will be offering an all levels complimentary community yoga class led by studio owner Rachael Frodyma. All are welcome to join in. Follow signs to the class location. Class time at 10:30 a.m.

Katie Frank, owner of Rising Tides Apothecary, will guide participants through a 30-minute introcution to wellness, with a mini session at 12 p.m. Llearn about seasonal detoxing with the fall equinox, repairing sun damaged skin with LED Light Therapy and using lymphatic drainage to lift the face and relax the brow. Each segment will include an introduction to the methodology as well as a chance to continue your knowledge with workshops, group work, discounts and one on one sessions. Session attendees will be automatically entered to win a giveaway, valued at $150. You can also align and ground yourself through energy healing with a mini-reiki session with Lindsey Garant of LaLune Healing at the Rising Tides Apothecary tent. A hands on healing technique with the use of crystals and tuning forks.

There will be other wellness attractions as well. The wellness market is free and open to the public with plenty of parking. As always, there will be live music.
